The Home Alone course runs for 3 hours and is designed for children who may be left home alone for a short time. Although there is no age requirement for this course, we recommend ages 9 and older because of the reading component involved in the course.

  • How to recognize and prevent unsafe situations, make safe choices and promote safe behaviours

  • First aid skills

  • The business of babysitting

Students must be at least 11 years old (or have completed Grade 5) when taking the course. Students will receive a certificate of completion and a student manual.
