Energy Safety Canada: H2S Blended Renewal
Upon successful completion of the Energy Safety Canada online theory exam with a minimum score of 70%, students will then be eligible to complete the skills assessment (assessment fees will apply). Successful completion of the skills assessment will result in a Certificate of Completion that is valid for three years.

This renewal course shows workers how to work safely in and around Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) environments

Why Take the H2S Blended Renewal
People who feel competent with the skills taught in the course and who have a current H2S Alive certificate can save valuable time by taking this option. The online portion must be completed through Energy Safety Canada prior to coming in for the in-person skills testing that is administered by a certified instructor, to ensure the highest standards of competency.

Course Requirements
To participate in the H2S Blended Renewal course, all students must have a current (not expired) H2S certification and present government-issued photo ID.

Should a student be unsuccessful in either the online theory or skills assessment on the first attempt, they will be required to register for the one-day H2S Alive classroom course (registration fees will apply).
